WebMD Pain Coach App Reviews

Mostly Good, but crashes &

Alll the entries are dated 29 hrs behind actual day/time - so my pain records r all 1 day +5hrs earlier than the actual time I made the entries- plus it has started crashing. They have not responded back to the many times I have reported problem thru the contact link in the app. It is a good way to track pain for records/dr/lawyers- plus there r helpful ways to cope with pain & its side effects- goal setting choices- links to helpful articles- etc...u should try this. U can also email a copy of 1 week or 1 month pain record to yourself to print out or bring to Dr appt or even email to Dr. Lots of xtras to use if u choose to

This App doesnt note correct times!

Where how can I fix this?

Good app

My one negative: the date is often for yesterday instead of today. Otherwise, I like tracking my pain level. I try to do some of the suggestions. Thanks!

Love it

I have been living with fibromyalgia for 15-20 years and this is a great tool to show my doctor how the month has been because I cant remember everything and how Ive been

Helps a lot

Really like how many features there are and that you can add symptoms, triggers and treatments and multiple notes throughout the day. I think this will really help me and my doctors.

My Pain

Excellent App now I Can Put Routines To Better Use Thank You For This App.!!!!!!!!

Pain management

I just started this web M.D. app and so far I just love it it helps me keep track throughout the day the changes to my fibromyalgia as I am in the beginning stages of learning how to deal with it and its so much easier to use on my phone

Excellent resource

I was recently diagnosed with Lupus and this has helped me to track my pain, my meds, my activities, and how Im feeling. The articles are great and I can look back to see all the notes that I wrote. It has been extremely helpful for me visiting the doctor as well! Love love love it!

Love it

I love this app. I just found it from a webmd magazine at my dr.s office. I suffer from chronic pain from failed neck surgery and this is a great tool to keep track of exactly whats going on pain wise. I feel like I go to the dr and always say " im in pain. Its is everyday in some form". This gives me the ability to be more accurate with my Dr. Thanks for a great product!

A work in progress?

This app has some nice features. It could provide for more than on entry per day. Oh and they need to fix the constant crashing whenever I save the entry or switch momentarily to another app or for that matter closing the app.

Cant register

The app is useless if it locks up when the user tries to register. Reloading the app doesnt help. I see many others had the same problem. I expected better quality from WebMD

Could be better and usefull

The app is very usefull. Has several crashes in my iPhone 6. It will be better if the developers includes more info about an issue in particular.

Good

So far its the best pain app out there.

Just doesnt work

I downloaded the app but couldnt create an account, it kept saying I wasnt connected. Even though multiple devices were using my wifi just fine. I tried using cell and it still didnt work. Next day I created an account on WebMDs site. Ok, simple enough. Then I tried to log in to that account on the app--it says my email and password dont match! I double and triple checked, tried many times, no go. I am deleting this infuriating app now. People in pain dont need any more aggravations!!!

WebMD has closed down the app.

From reading the prior reviews about the app recording entries 1 day off, youd think it would be a simple fix on the server side. Instead, it looks like WebMD has thrown in the towel, because all attempts to register yield "connection required" errors, and attempts to login with an existing account give you login errors. Youd think WebMD would do the mature & responsible response to unrepairable server problems would be to remove themselves from the AppStore, but they truly just dont care about their customers. Goodbye, WebMD, nice not knowing you.

SO AMAZING FOR A FREE APP!!!!!

So much information & tips& techniques right at your fingertips! A must have if you have any sort of chronic pain!

Time recording issues

I like a lot about this app... What I dont like is that my entries get recorded one day and several hours ahead of when I entered them. Sometimes the pain number gets recorded as one less than I entered. I cant edit an entry and that is a big issue. Needs correction.

Very helpful and easy to use

Its nice to keep up with how you are feeling. You tend to forget day to day. I like having the journal to refer to when I go the the doctor. I make a summary for him on my pain, triggers and meds. I write it down and he loves it. He scans it into my chart.

Good app!

Overall, I like this application. As someone who is quite young (23) who is struggling to find a diagnosis for her chronic pain, its been helpful to track the pain levels from day to day. As well as tracking symptoms and seeing if they change over time. As another reviewer mentioned, a goal journal would be a nice feature to be added. As well as more in depth tips provided for the goals. I also think that giving users the ability to chat with a professional via instant message, email, or video would be a nice upgrade.

Excellent App!!!

This is a great tool for people with chronic pain! Hassle free, simple to use. Gives you a good summary of your pain. I have actually gotten healthier since using this app! I have reduced the amount of medicine I take due to this app bc it made me realize when I was getting rebound headaches from pain killers. 5 stars and more! Thank you Pain Coach!
